Ripple Targets US$900 Million Revenue Run Rate by End of 2026 Following Major Banking Approvals and Stablecoin Expansion
Ripple has announced that it expects to close out 2026 with an annualized product revenue run rate of US$900 million. The company shared this significant financial milestone during its annual Ripple Swell 2026 conference, held in New York. This projection follows closely on the heels of a major regulatory milestone achieved just days prior, when the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency granted final approval for the establishment of the Ripple National Trust Bank.
The projected figure represents a year-end run rate rather than the total revenue collected across the entire calendar year of 2026. According to leadership at Ripple, this robust growth has been driven by a combination of strong organic demand for its core proprietary products and strategic acquisitions completed throughout 2025. The company noted that the breadth of its ecosystem is expanding rapidly, highlighted by the fact that the number of enterprise customers and corporate partners utilizing more than one Ripple product has tripled over the course of the year. Prominent financial institutions and fintech leaders, including BNY and Robinhood, are among those adopting multiple offerings across the platform. Meanwhile, major global banks such as HSBC and Standard Chartered continue to leverage Ripple’s advanced payments and custody infrastructure, which currently spans more than 60 payout markets worldwide.

RLUSD Expands to Coinbase
A major driver of Ripple’s recent momentum is the performance and distribution of Ripple USD (RLUSD), the company’s proprietary US dollar-denominated stablecoin. Ripple reported that the asset has achieved a market capitalization of US$2.6 billion.
The utility and accessibility of RLUSD expanded significantly when Coinbase integrated the stablecoin across Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange, and its consumer retail application. This integration enables users to seamlessly deposit and withdraw RLUSD across multiple blockchain networks, including the XRP Ledger, Base, and Ethereum. Furthermore, Coinbase Global Exchange customers are slated to gain broader access to the stablecoin in subsequent rollouts, with the added capability of utilizing RLUSD as trading collateral.
Jack McDonald, Senior Vice President of Stablecoins at Ripple, emphasized the strategic importance of this integration for institutional market participants. Institutional appetite for compliant, high-quality stablecoins is clear, McDonald noted, pointing out that the primary challenge facing the market has been making these digital assets readily available through the established platforms that institutions already trust and use. He added that the partnership with Coinbase directly addresses and meets that institutional demand head-on.

Updates Across Treasury and Trade Finance
Beyond its core payments infrastructure and stablecoin initiatives, Ripple is broadening the scope of its institutional product suite, notably with updates to Ripple Prime. The platform is expanding its capabilities to support event contracts and real-world asset perpetual futures, which function as derivatives carrying no expiration date.
In tandem with these derivative offerings, Ripple has introduced a new treasury platform designed to consolidate cash management, financial forecasting, liquidity tracking, and payment operations into a unified interface. A standout feature of this new platform is its 24/7 Returns functionality, which allows corporate treasury departments to deploy idle cash outside of traditional banking hours. This capability includes investments in tokenized money market funds, maximizing capital efficiency for institutional clients around the clock.
Concurrently, Ripple is deepening its footprint in the trade finance sector through an ongoing collaboration with BNY on the XRP Ledger. The alliance is actively expanding its tokenized trade finance initiatives, marked by the launch of their inaugural project—a supplier finance scheme developed in partnership with C2FO.
