McDonald’s Snack Wrap Finally Returns After 9 Years

Great news for McDonald’s fans! The famous Snack Wrap is coming back on July 10, 2025. This is the comeback people have been waiting nine long years for.

Why Did It Take So Long?

McDonald’s removed the Snack Wrap from most restaurants in 2016, then completely stopped making it in 2020. Fans have been asking for it back ever since. The president of McDonald’s USA, Joe Erlinger, hinted it would return in 2025, but didn’t give an exact date until now.

What Made the Return Possible?

In May 2025, McDonald’s brought back McCrispy Strips – the chicken tenders needed to make Snack Wraps. This was the key ingredient that had to return first before the wraps could come back.

Two New Flavors Coming

McDonald’s confirmed on Instagram that Snack Wraps return July 10. They’re bringing back two versions:

Spicy Snack Wrap – Made with the same habanero Spicy Pepper Sauce from the Spicy McCrispy sandwich

Ranch Snack Wrap – Topped with classic ranch dressing

Both wraps include crispy chicken, shredded cheese, and lettuce wrapped in a soft tortilla.

Earlier Than Expected

McDonald’s originally teased the return date as “0x.14.2025” but moved it up. Their Instagram post said “I got my boss to bring it back earlier for you.”

Perfect Timing

The announcement comes right after Popeyes said they’re adding Chicken Wraps to their menu this summer. Competition might have pushed McDonald’s to act faster.

For drive-thru customers who missed having a handheld chicken wrap option, July 10 can’t come soon enough. After nine years of waiting, the Snack Wrap is finally back.
